The Camden Lady Blue Devils softball team won their 2013 home opener 7-2 over Utica Notre Dame.
Emily Smith was 2-2 with a double and Ashleigh Gawarecai went 2-3 with a two bunts and two stolen bases. Heather Beers went the distance for Camden, giving up five hits and two runs.
Camden evened their record at 1-1 and play at VVS on Tuesday, April 23rd at 4:15pm.
